Smartphones have changed how we do everything in life, and saving money is no exception.  There are literally thousands of apps out there with the sole purpose of helping you save – it’s just a matter of digging them out and working out which ones are best.

So because it's the start of the silly season, we all tend to spend a little bit more than we need to.

We have Christmas and New Year's Eve to get through, and when you pair that with our sunny weather at this time you get weddings, engagements and holidays, too.

Whether you are buying gifts for loved ones, travelling, or just treating yourself to something special, make sure you don’t find yourself feeling the blues in January.

ALCATEL recommends the following apps to help keep track of your spending. The great thing about these apps is, they come in handy all year round.
